Winter & Holiday Inspiration

I like to draw inspiration for my candle collections from personal experiences and a passion of mine:  travel!  While all of the candles in the Winter & Holiday line are wonderful, there are a couple that have a special meaning to me.

The Tannenbaum (German for fir or Christmas Tree) candle has the most wonderful balsam fir scent.  Its scent is reminiscent of the trees my Dad would bring home for Christmas, and its name is a little nod to Sister Barbara who taught us second-graders to sing O' Christmas Tree in German.

I was also fortunate enough to take a wonderful trip to Germany in September 2021.  This scent brings me back to Germany with its woodsy mountains and castles!

The Alpine Frost candle's scent is also fresh like Alpine air with a hint of woods and frosted flowers.  While we were in Germany we visited Säntis which is the highest mountain in the Alpstein massif of northeastern Switzerland.  It is also the culminating point of the whole Appenzell Alps, between Lake Walen and Lake Constance This candle brings back memories of the crisp wintery air and feeling on top of the world.

I hope you enjoy all of the candles in the Winter & Holiday collection as they're all wonderful.  And I hope the story behind the Tannenbaum and Alpine Frost candles brings a little nostalgia,  inspiration and holiday spirit to you as well!  ❤️💚
